PlayStation Messages app launches on iOS & Android

Promises to make keeping in touch with your PSN friends much easier.

The free app allows PSN users to:

Check your Friends List to instantly see who’s online and what they’re playingSend text messages or voice messages to individual friends or to groups of friends anytime you likeUpload and share your own attachments and swap PlayStation-themed stickersSearch for, and add, new PlayStation Network contacts

The app works in addition to the existing PlayStation App, which still offers the ability to manage game downloads, control the PS4 remotely, and act as a second screen in certain titles.
