Gearbox opens new studio to work on '1st Person Action Game'

Gearbox Studio Quebec seeking core staff for mystery game.

Gearbox Studio Quebec currently has 16 openings on its website, including one for a lead game designer on the secret action game. It isn't clear from the description whether the studio will be leading development on the title, or assisting Gearbox's main Texas-based studio.

Gearbox is currently working on next year's competitive first-person shooter Battleborn and a new entry in the Borderlands franchise. It is also expected to be developing a new Duke Nukem title.
